Explore our Sylvotherapy (Shinrin-yoku) CPD workshop for counsellors, psychotherapists, and well-being professionals. Reduce stress, boost resilience, and integrate nature-based techniques ethically into practice.
Welcome to Surrey's Learning and Counselling Centre
At our Surrey-based counselling centre, mental health expertise meets a deep connection to nature and spirituality. Our gardens, woods, lakes, and wildlife provide a restorative space for reflection, renewal, and holistic well-being.
As a psychotherapist, counselling supervisor, Celtic shamanic practitioner, and sylvotherapist, I guide clients and professionals through integrative therapy, forest-based well-being, and shamanic techniques. These approaches support stress reduction, emotional regulation, grief processing, anxiety management, and deeper self-awareness. I also specialise in neurodiversity, offering strengths-based support for autistic clients, ADHDers, and those with diverse cognitive profiles.
What Is Sylvotherapy?
Sylvotherapy, also called Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing), is an evidence-informed, nature-based practice that restores balance to mind and body. For professionals, it provides a structured, ethical framework to:
Reduce stress and burnout
Enhance focus, resilience, and reflective capacity
Integrate nature-based practices safely into counselling and psychotherapy
Learn more about forest-based well-being practices in therapy.

Our Sylvotherapy CPD workshop is designed for:

The workshop aligns with CPCAB CPD standards, BACP/UKCP ethical frameworks, and NHS well-being initiatives, making it suitable for individual professional development or organisational staff well-being programmes.
